About Zlatibor
The day king Aleksander Obrenovic
came to visit Kulasevac in 1893., is generally
considered the beginning of tourism on Zlatibor
when it even changed its name to "King's Waters"
- "Kraljeve Vode" -, for a while.
Thanks to its excellent climate, harmony between
forested areas and wide meadows covered with picturesque
plants and flowers, brooks, fresh and unpolluted air,
pure water, numerous sunny days, hospitality of people
who live on Zlatibor, beautiful skiing terrains,
specific air currents (continental and mediterranean),
favourable altitude, beautiful landscapes... Zlatibor
has developed into a thriving touristic place with the
longest tradition among the mountains in Serbia.
